What services and packages do you offer?

DRØM Photo offers professional headshots, portraits, lifestyle and social media content, and product photography for individuals, founders, and small businesses in the Sea to Sky corridor.

Headshot sessions start from $250 for a 30-minute studio session and progress through  based on your needs — number of people, looks, and session length.

Product and commercial photography is scoped individually — pricing is based on a short discovery conversation covering your products, intended use, and deliverables. Get in touch via the contact form to get started.

Wardrobe, location - can you help?

Absolutely — and this is where preparation makes all the difference.

Every booking includes a pre-session consultation covering wardrobe guidance tailored to your goals and intended use (LinkedIn, website, social media), location options based on your preferred backdrop and the season, and model or prop sourcing if required.

For headshot and portrait clients, a detailed Client Prep Guide is sent after booking — covering everything from what to wear to what to expect on the day.

Do you offer product photography with models or props?

Yes — product shoots are scoped individually based on your needs. If your project requires models, props, or specific locations, we'll cover all of that in our discovery conversation. Get in touch via the contact form to discuss your project.

How will I receive my images?

Your edited images are delivered via a private, password-protected online gallery — accessible directly from dromphoto.com.

Each gallery includes two versions of your images:

— Web-optimised files, ideal for website and social media use
— High-resolution files, suitable for print and professional publications.

Your gallery link and password will be sent directly to the email address provided at booking. Individual galleries are created for each client — for team sessions, every team member receives their own private gallery.

What’s your turnaround time?

Turnaround has two phases:

Session Scheduling
Timing varies based on calendar availability, shoot complexity, and any dependencies such as weather for outdoor locations or model availability. Reach out early if you have a deadline in mind.

Image Delivery
A lightly edited gallery — colour corrected, cropped, and lightly touched up — is typically delivered within one week of your session date.

Final fully retouched images are delivered within one week of you selecting your favourites in the online gallery.

In short: most clients have their final images within two weeks of their session.

Rush Editing
If you have an urgent deadline, rush editing may be available for an additional fee. Mention this when booking or during your discovery conversation and I'll do my best to accommodate.

How and when do you process payments?

Headshot & Portrait Sessions
A deposit is due at the time of booking — this secures your session date and time. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session.

Deposits can be paid online at the time of booking via the website. Balance payments are accepted by e-transfer or cash.

Product & Commercial Photography
An invoice is issued following your discovery consultation, outlining your package details, deliverables, and licensing terms. A deposit is due upon confirmation, with the remaining balance due within 30 days of final image delivery.

Payment accepted by e-transfer or e-invoice.

All Sessions
Clients who prefer to pay in full at the time of online booking are welcome to do so.

What is a non-exclusive license?

When you book a session with DRØM Photo, your package includes a non-exclusive license — here's what that means in plain language.

What you can do:
Use your images for the purposes agreed at booking — personal use, social media, your website, print materials, and professional profiles such as Linkedin - all the places your professional image needs to live.

What you can't do:
Sell your images to a third party or allow another business or individual to use them for their own promotion. If a third party wants to use your images, they would need to license them directly from DRØM Photo.

What DRØM Photo can do:
As the photographer and artist, DRØM Photo retains intellectual property of the original images and may use them for portfolio, website, and social media promotion — unless a privacy agreement is arranged at the time of booking.
For product and commercial photography, DRØM Photo also retains the right to license images to third parties unless an exclusive license has been purchased. If exclusivity is important to your business, this is worth discussing before your session.

Need full exclusivity? Exclusive commercial licenses are available for clients who require sole ownership of image usage rights. Pricing is discussed during your discovery consultation. Exclusive licenses are most commonly relevant for product and commercial photography clients requiring sole usage rights for advertising, packaging, or third party distribution.

Do you offer collaboration arrangements with small businesses?

Yes, occasionally and selectively.

DRØM Photo values community and believes in supporting local small businesses in the Sea to Sky corridor.

If you're a business owner with a service or product package of equal value to exchange, I'm open to exploring collaboration arrangements on a case by case basis. This might look like photography services in exchange for a complementary business service, product, or experience.

Collaborations are initiated based on mutual fit and availability — reach out via the contact form with a brief description of your business and what you have in mind.

Do I need experience in front of a camera?

Not at all — and you're not alone in feeling nervous about it.

Most people arrive at their session a little unsure of what to do with their hands, their face, or where to look. That's completely normal and it usually disappears within the first few minutes.

My job is to guide you through the entire session — where to stand, how to position yourself, and how to relax into a expression that feels natural rather than posed. You don't need to know any of this in advance. You just need to show up.

A detailed prep guide is sent to every client after booking — covering everything from what to wear to what to expect on the day — so you'll arrive feeling prepared and confident rather than caught off guard.

The best portraits don't come from people who are comfortable in front of a camera. They come from people who feel comfortable with their photographer.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

Rescheduling
Life happens — I get it. If you need to reschedule, please give me at least 48 hours notice and I'll find you a new time at no charge. Rescheduling requests with less than 48 hours notice are accommodated where possible, subject to availability.

Cancellations
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before your session will receive a full deposit refund. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice forfeit the deposit.

Team Sessions  The deposit secures your team's studio block. Individual team member cancellations do not affect the deposit or session date — that slot is simply forfeited. If 3 or more team members need to cancel, please give me at least 72 hours notice and I'll reschedule the full session at no charge.

Outdoor sessions are weather-dependent. If conditions aren't suitable on the day, you'll be offered either a reschedule of the outdoor portion within 30 days or equivalent additional studio time at no charge.

Extenuating Circumstances Illness, family emergencies, and other genuine extenuating circumstances are always handled with flexibility and compassion — do reach out by email or phone as soon as you can.
